This policy explains how FreeHumanizeAI, the operator of freehumanizeai.com, collects, uses, shares, and retains information when you visit the site, create an account, use a writing tool, contact support, purchase credits, or subscribe to a plan.

Information you provide

We process account identifiers supplied through Google sign-in or email authentication, including your name, email address, profile image, and sign-in status. We process the text, files, instructions, mode selections, and protected phrases you submit when you ask a tool to humanize, check, analyze, or paraphrase writing. If you contact us, we process the message and the contact details you provide. If paid features are enabled, payment providers process payment credentials and return transaction status, plan, amount, currency, and reference information; we do not need to store a full payment card number.

Information collected automatically

The site and its service providers may collect an IP address, browser and device type, operating system, referring page, requested URL, timestamps, approximate region derived from an IP address, language, cookie or session identifiers, error details, and basic usage events. We use these records to deliver pages, maintain sessions, prevent abuse, diagnose failures, measure reliability, and understand which product documentation is useful. We do not request GPS, Bluetooth, or other precise device location through the current website.

How submitted writing is processed

Text submitted to a generative tool may be sent to the configured AI inference provider so the requested result can be produced. Authentication, hosting, database, email, storage, and security providers may process information only as needed to operate their services. We do not use private submitted drafts to train our own models or permit a provider to use them for unrelated advertising merely because you used the tool. Users should not submit confidential, regulated, or third-party personal information unless they have the right and a suitable reason to process it.

Cookies and local identifiers

Cookies are small text records stored by a browser. We may use essential cookies or similar local storage to keep you signed in, protect authentication flows, remember security choices, prevent repeated abuse, and maintain a requested session. Analytics or preference cookies may help us understand aggregate use or remember settings where enabled. You can restrict or delete cookies in your browser, but blocking essential cookies may prevent account login, saved preferences, or other parts of the service from working.

Google advertising cookies and third-party advertising

If advertising is enabled, third-party vendors, including Google, may use cookies, web beacons, IP addresses, or other identifiers to serve, limit, measure, and personalize ads. Google and its partners may use advertising cookies to serve ads based on a user's prior visits to this website or other websites. Other Google-certified advertising vendors or ad networks may also use cookies or similar technologies where they are selected in our advertising settings and permitted by applicable consent choices.

Users can manage or opt out of personalized advertising through Google My Ad Center. Additional industry opt-out choices may be available at AboutAds. Opting out of personalized advertising does not necessarily remove all ads; ads may still be selected using contextual information such as the page topic or general location.

Consent for visitors in the EEA, United Kingdom, and Switzerland

Before serving personalized advertising or using non-essential advertising storage where consent is legally required, we will present an appropriate consent message through a Google- certified consent management platform. The message will identify relevant purposes and providers, offer choices, and allow users to revisit those choices. If a compliant consent mechanism is not active, we will not intentionally serve personalized ads in regions where that mechanism is required.

How we use information

• Provide requested rewrites, checks, comparisons, exports, and account features.
• Authenticate users and maintain credit, subscription, and transaction records.
• Show an estimated credit cost, reserve credits during a run, and release or charge them.
• Deliver essential emails such as sign-in codes, receipts, and security notices.
• Detect fraud, automated abuse, attacks, and violations of the Terms of Service.
• Measure reliability, investigate errors, and improve product and editorial quality.
• Serve and measure advertising when enabled, subject to applicable consent choices.
• Comply with law, enforce agreements, and protect users, the public, and the service.

Service providers and disclosures

Current providers include Google for sign-in and, when enabled, advertising; Resend for transactional email; OpenAI for signed-in generative rewrites; PostgreSQL infrastructure for account and credit records; and the hosting provider that serves the application and security logs. A payment processor will be identified at checkout before paid billing is activated. We do not currently use submitted draft text to build advertising audiences or sell it as a data product. Providers may process data under their own terms and privacy commitments or under instructions from the operator.

Advertising restrictions and personal information

We do not intentionally place email addresses, phone numbers, names, private document text, or other directly identifying information into advertising request URLs or ad-targeting parameters. We do not create advertising audiences from sensitive information such as health conditions, religion, sexual orientation, or similarly sensitive categories. If we ever offer housing, employment, or credit advertising in the United States or Canada, we will not use protected personal attributes to unlawfully restrict who can see those opportunities.

Retention and security

The current Humanizer API does not write submitted input or returned output to the account database unless a user explicitly saves a document or a future history feature clearly says that it will do so. Text remains in the browser for the active workflow and is sent to the configured inference provider to produce the result. Provider-side temporary retention is governed by the applicable API terms. Saved documents, account details, and credit history remain until the user deletes them or closes the account, subject to records we must retain.

Expired authentication verifications are removed on a rolling basis. Routine authentication and security events are retained for up to 90 days; support correspondence for up to 24 months after the request closes; consent records for up to five years; and payment, tax, and accounting records for up to seven years where required. Backups may retain deleted records for up to 35 additional days before rotation. We may keep a narrower record longer when necessary to investigate abuse, resolve a dispute, or comply with a legal hold. We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, but no internet service can guarantee absolute security. Do not use the service as the only copy of important writing.

Your choices and rights

You can choose not to create an account, avoid submitting personal information in writing, manage browser cookies, change advertising choices, and request access, correction, deletion, or another privacy right available in your jurisdiction. Some records may be retained where required for security, fraud prevention, accounting, or legal compliance. To make a request, email [email protected] with the subject “Privacy request.” We may verify your identity before acting on an account request.

Children

The service is a general-audience writing tool and is not directed to children under 13. Users who are not old enough to consent to data processing or enter a contract in their jurisdiction should use the service only with appropriate parental, guardian, school, or institutional authorization.

We may update this policy when product features, providers, legal requirements, or advertising practices change. The effective date will be revised when a material update is published.
